If not, does something like this exist? -Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.67.35.97 ( talk) 20:13, 25 August 2008 (UTC) No, MSTS is not a transit simulation, if you mean to use it as a semi-scientific tool. Is this game useful for simulating mass transit (light rail, subways, buses, etc)? Dp67 | QSO 11:55, 23 August 2007 (UTC) Transit simulation? I'm lost at the "the then" is that meant to be 'they' and if so who is they? Microsoft or Kuju? I had heard it was MS that did but don't know for sure and don't want to correct it with out the facts. Perhaps someone could enlighten me on the meaning of this. It is to be published by Electronic Arts in October 2007."
MSTS PAYWARE SIMULATOR
"Kuju Entertainment, the creators of the original Microsoft Train Simulator and also the then cancelled Train Simulator 2, started to work on their own train simulator product named Rail Simulator. I'm not sure what is meant by the following paragraph.

MSTS PAYWARE SOFTWARE
How about a table for the software information? I would gladly make one but I do not know how. Alexey Topol ( talk) 13:03, 7 November 2010 (UTC) Software Information Table Jezhotwells ( talk) 16:03, 20 January 2009 (UTC) I completely agree with you - other train sims have their own respective pages and should not be mentioned here. If anyone is unhappy with what I've done, please comment here. Jezhotwells ( talk) 15:28, 27 December 2008 (UTC) I have cleaned up the article, removed unnecessary detail and spam links. I have placed the Advertising template on the page. Unless anyone objects, I would propose that the "adverts" be removed and replace with a more generic section relating to the general types of add-ons available (commercial, community, freeware, etc.). I agree with the above (anonymous) poster. I suggest that a Wiki Administrator remove said "Adverts".Ī lot of the external links seem to be spam I loved MTS 1. :( PMLF 00:00, (UTC)Īny interested fan of MSTS would be already aware of the Kuju and PI Engineering offerings in development through the relevant fan sites and forums.

MSTS PAYWARE UPDATE

I downloaded What Runs Where as suggested. Even with a team It can take just as long to build a virtual route as it does a real model railroad. That's another issue.A route builder needs several skills to build all the things he needs for a route, unless he's lucky enough to get help from other modelers. Building Hellgate itself would take some time. It would be nice to run some New Haven north out of New York! Of course I can see where building NYC and Boston in the sim would be a colossal task, even if you just stick with what is along the right of way. I know there is an extension of the NEC north to New York under development, but I haven't heard anything recently. It's a supreme headache, knowing you could loose all your work at any time, and working to prevent it. It requires a lot of time and patience and saving every few minutes or so and making multiple backups. The problem is that working with the Route Editor is troublesome and frustrating. There are still routes under development and I have read from time to time about running the NEC all the way to Boston.
